Student competitions

The NZ Board of Geography Teachers with the support of the NZGS encourages and recognises excellence in school geography by running competitions for Geography students at all levels of secondary education.

Students who excel in these competitions are selected to compete in national and international competitions against their peers.

For students to participate in these competitions their schools must be current members of the NZGS.
