June Logie is the Vice-President of New Zealand Geographical Society Inc.

After more than 30 years of teaching geography (24 at Auckland Girls' Grammar School where she was HOD),serving as the Auckland Regional Representative on the NZ Board of Geography Teachers from 1999 to 2001 and working on the NZGS Auckland Branch committee for many years, she left teaching to organise the NZGS 2003 conference.  June Logie has been Vice President since 2003 and was appointed Executive Manager in January 2004 when the Head Office moved from Hamilton to Auckland.
